Timer & Tracking Issues

My timer stopped/reset unexpectedly

This can happen due to system memory management or app updates. To prevent this:

  • • Keep the app open in the background
  • • Disable battery optimization for Fastie in your phone settings
  • • Ensure you have sufficient storage space
  • • Restart the app if the timer appears stuck

Timer shows wrong time or doesn't update

Check your device's time zone settings and ensure they're correct. Force close and reopen the app to refresh the timer display.

📊 Data & History Issues

My fasting history disappeared

Your data is stored locally on your device. If you've reinstalled the app or cleared app data, your history may be lost. Unfortunately, we cannot recover deleted local data.

Statistics are not updating correctly

Try refreshing the statistics page by navigating away and back. If the issue persists, restart the app to recalculate your stats.

💎 Premium Subscription Issues

I purchased premium but features are still locked

This usually resolves within a few minutes. Try these steps:

  • • Force close and reopen the app
  • • Check your internet connection
  • • Try the "Restore Purchases" button in Settings
  • • Wait 5-10 minutes for the purchase to sync

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your app store account (Apple App Store or Google Play Store), not through the app itself. Go to your account settings in the respective store to manage subscriptions.

I was charged but didn't receive premium access

Contact us immediately at blmeow.dev@gmail.com with your purchase receipt/order ID. We'll help resolve this within 24 hours.

App Performance Issues

App is slow or freezing

Performance issues can usually be resolved by:

  • • Force closing and reopening the app
  • • Restarting your device
  • • Ensuring you have at least 1GB of free storage
  • • Updating to the latest version of the app

App crashes on startup

Try deleting and reinstalling the app. Note that this will remove your local fasting history. If crashes continue, contact support with your device model and OS version.

⚙️ Settings & Customization

How do I change my fasting goal?

Go to Settings → Fasting Goals to customize your default fasting duration and weekly targets.

Can I change the app language?

Yes! Fastie supports English and Chinese (Simplified & Traditional). Change the language in Settings → Language or use your device's system language settings.

Notifications are not working

Check that notifications are enabled for Fastie in your device settings. Also verify that Do Not Disturb mode isn't blocking the notifications.
